SITRONICS TS mainly uses ORACLE Database Management System technologies (DBMS), implementing these solutions in its OSS/BSS complex system of convergent billing which is used by telecommunications operators, as well as in power engineering and public utilities.

The ORACLE DBMS platform is mainly used in the FORIS solution, which is SITRONICS TS's flagship product. "The ORACLE platform creates the most important part of the information collection and storage process. It also plays an important role in the convergent real time charging system," Matej Okáli, the Implementation and Technical Support Division Director, said. "The reliability of the ORACLE platform enables us not only to extend the possibilities of our product line, but also provide our customers with new functionalities for their business development," Mr. Okáli said.

The award and the "Breakthrough of the year" nomination reflects the SITRONICS TS progressive stance and the fact that SITRONICS is perceived as a leading ORACLE partner with regard to the number of database area contracts concluded in the EMEA region, during the last 5 years.
