Pavel Smejkal has been appointed CEO of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, Czech Republic
Prague, January 30th, 2009- Pavel Smejkal (37) has been appointed CEO of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, Czech Republic, a producer of telecommunication infrastructure and information systems, from the beginning of January. Mr. Smejkal is responsible for company management, creation and fulfillment of its financial strategy, planning, development and controlling.
Before joining the management of SITRONICS TS, CZ, Pavel Smejkal was the Finance Director and Support Services Department Director of Johnson & Johnson Czech and Slovakia. He has also gained his professional experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and in Telefónica O2 Czech Republic (former Cesky Telecom) senior finance management. In this position he participated in the integration process of Cesky Telecom and Eurotel, and the subsequent integration with the Telefónica O2 group, as welll as the privatization and transformation process of the Cesky Telecom group.
Pavel Smejkal graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, where his field of study was International Business, politics and diplomacy. He is a member of the international Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) which has its registered office in Great Britain. In addition, he has gained the American Institute of Certified Accountants certificate (AICPA). Pavel has been working in various management positions in multinational companies for more than 10 years.
